Welcome to the gallery for the "STX Boogie 2025" The STX Boogie begins! This fabulous first time boogie was amazingly organized by FYRE Parachute and Fiona Horne. Location: St. Croix, United States Virgin Islands, Dates: 15th – 22nd February 2025
The STX Boogie is the first international skydiving boogie ever held in the US Virgin Islands and on the island of St. Croix. Over 50 skydivers from around the world including Australia, Brazil, Egypt, Germany, Great Britain, Iraq, Russia, Switzerland, Puerto Rico, United States and Yemen
participated in a historic series of firsts, including the first wingsuit flight, free flying, hybrids, flocks, and tracking over the island. Led by eight world-class Load Organizers, skydivers completed over 750 individual jumps with zero incidents or injuries.
Beyond the breathtaking jumps, participants fell in love with St. Croix both in the sky and on the ground, engaging in cultural and community events, youth outreach, and offering local tandem skydives. More than just a skydiving boogie, this was a transformative experience that emphasized giving back to the community while pioneering skydiving in the Virgin Islands.
The STX Boogie will return in 2026—bigger and better than ever!
Organizers and staff included: FreeFly: Tex Leos (USA), Alethia Austin (USA), Rob Jones (Great Britain), Coto Rodrigo (Brazil). Wingsuit: Luke Rogers (Australia) and Belly: Tom Schroder. Aerial Cinematographer Artist: Norman Kent. Other staff included: Safety And Training Advisor Mat Yount, Fyre Parachute Team: Moe Abdullah and Fiona Horne. Manifest: Lesley Yount and Brook Bond. Additionally, a fantastic set of pilots and packers from Puerto Rico and many other volunteers who worked hard to make this an amazing experience for everyone
