Welcome to the "JOS Record " event gallery at Skydive Paraclete XP. Skydivers from several countries including USA, South Africa, Canada, Mexico and Germany attended this event organized by Rick Poplinger and Steve Woodford to break the Jumpers Over Seventy “JOS” previous world record of 35-Way by attempting a 41-Way formation out of a Casa and Twin Otter aircraft in formation. Some challenging weather prevented them from making all the jumps planned and, in the end, the largest formation was a 40-Way out of a 41-Way attempt, making this the largest JOS formation, however falling short of a legal world record. The oldest participant was 80 years young! The group promised to return next year and try again. Never too old to skydive :)
Thanks to all participants, organizers, packers, staff, volunteers and of course to Skydive Paraclete XP for such an wonderful skydiving event!
This gallery contains all images I selected from what I shot in the course of the event. Enjoy browsing and re-living the awesome flights!
