Welcome to the gallery for the "Head Down Florida State Record" event organized by Rook Nelson at Skydive Sebastian in Sebastian, FL. Skydivers from various countries including Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, France, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Paraguay, Turkey and USA came to participate in this successful event with the intention of breaking the previous Florida State Head Down record which they accomplished with a beautiful 62-way formation!
Part of the objective was to incorporate and test new design technology allowing for the formation to be built faster than previous designs, the event also served as a tryout and training for the upcoming 200-way world record event, which will take place this summer at Skydive Chicago. Awesome reliable skills were demonstrated overall in this very successful event! I feel privileged to have been a part of it
Skydive Sebastian was a great place to hold this event as it is the winter home of Skydive Chicago’s partial fleet of aircraft which were used for the event.
Congratulations everyone on your new world record! Thanks to all participants, organizers, and staff for such an amazing skydiving event!
