Welcome to the "Lake Boogie 2025 - Mexico" event gallery at Skydive Mexico in Tequesquitengo, Morelos, Mexico and Skydive Monkey Head in Mexico. Both DZ’s are owned by Skydive Mexico and this 3-day event used both of them in the in order to take full advantage of the amazing facilities, organizers and aircraft available.
60 skydivers from several parts of Mexico and the US joined this unique and very successful event which featured Load Organizers: Roberta Mancino, Gian Franco “Dragon” Malinconi, Gustavo Vazquez, Luis Rios and Leo Turco (wingsuit) and shooting camera: Roman Alba and myself (Norman Kent).
This event was unique in several ways: It had 2 locations, it featured a Casa and Twin Otter aircraft, additionally there were a helicopter and hot air balloon specialty aircraft available, to top it off, they offered water training for everyone and rental gear to do a massive 52 person water landing, with multiple boats and jet-ski’s available for safety what an amazing concept.
The event took place in two location: Friday’s jumps were made at Skydive Mexico, which is next to the lake in Tequesquitengo, Morelos, Mexico, out of a hot air balloon (early morning for those who signed up), out of the Twin Otter (all day) and out of the helicopter (in groups of 4) all afternoon. Saturday, everyone was transported to Skydive Monkey Head (located about an hour from Skydive Mexico), and jumped out of the Casa aircraft all day. Part of the jumping included the building of the Cancer ribbon in freefall in support of the battle against cancer. At the end of the day everyone returned to Tequesquitengo, to continue regular jumping with organizers the following day, until 1pm when everyone’s attention turned In to the lake water landing briefing, followed by 3 Twin Otter loads in to the lake where other jumpers and friends waited to celebrate the amazing weekend well in to Sunday night.
AMAZING TIME was had by all!!
